Schools to reopen on May 10, Magoha insists
Education Ministry Cabinet Secretary Prof. George Magoha has maintained that schools shall reopen on May 10, 2021 as earlier planned.
The CS dispelled rumours that opening dates for primary and secondary schools may change over the third wave of coronavirus that has struck Kenya.
Speaking during an official KCSE exercise in Kiambu county on Monday April 12, CS Magoha said there will be no changes on opening dates as covid-19 cases have started going down.
“I am hoping since it looks like the pandemic is going to flatten, there is no need for me to summon stakeholders as the timetable is likely to remain the same for the rest of the year,” CS George Magoha said.
